Alaska Fishing Trips

The surrounding mountain and bay are home to Kodiak Brown Bear, bald eagles, sea otters, sea lions,  porpoise and several species of whales.  Our Alaska Fishing Lodge guests have a great opportunity to see our resident brown bears, eagles, otters, seals and whales.  We see whales, bears, rare birds, otters, and more from our boats every day.  The lodge sits in an incredible location and the scenery is some of the finest in the world. Wildflowers galore. In addition, there is a glacier lake just a one-hour hike from the lodge.

Alaska's Kodiak Island Resort is located in a small fishing village on the west side of Kodiak Island in southcentrl Alaska. We offer Charter Fishing, Whale watching, brown bear viewing, sightseeing, exploring in the wilderness of Alaska.

Larsen Bay is a small wilderness fishing village of about 50 full time residents. There are four lodges located in Larsen Bay and all have easy access to great fishing. The Sheilikof Straights are located just outside of the bay. These waters are where tidal influences meet the the outflow of tthe bays and rivers. The disturbance in the water churn up bait and this attracts all five spieces of Salmon, Big Halibut, Rockfish, Steelhead, Dolly Varden along with others.

Whales are very comonly sited along with an occational group of Killer Whales. Sea Lions, seals, porpose, beach and sea otters, brown bear, wolves, bald eagles are just some of the critters that roam these parts.


All Packages include:

  • Round trip transportation from Kodiak to Larsen Bay
  • Double occupancy accommodations in our delux guest suites
  • Three gourmet meals a day, including snacks and soft drinks
  • Fish cutting and cleaning, vacuum sealing, freezing, and packing in wet lock boxes. Up to 100 pounds per person. Additional processing at $1.50 per pound.

    Choose a Fly fishing trip and fish streams that you're group will be the only people you'll see, or explore the coast line for a wonderful exciting outing. Enjoy your lunch and stroll down a deserted beach. Just don't foget your camera and a gun is not a bad idea. Here, you may not be at the top of the food chain. These trips are safe as long as you use common sence. ie. never sleep with a salmon under your pillow.
