Fishing Lodges in Alaska

Alaska's Kodiak Island Resort is luxurious, even by Alaskan standards. The 6,500 square foot main lodge consists of six double rooms, each with two queen-size beds, full sized private bath and spectacular waterfront views. You will marvel at the beauty of the Alaska countryside during your vacation stay with us.

Our lodge is situated right on the shore of Larsen Bay in the small Alutiq village of Larsen Bay. Our recreation room is on the first floor, with the top floor dedicated to our guests private rooms, each nicely furnished and equipped with a full sized restroom.. When you arrive, you will be enter the lodge through spacious veranda overlooking Larsen Bay .Entry into the lodge is from this deck which wraps completely around. Located just inside the door is a great room with lots to look at including a display of native artifacts. Our guest bedrooms all have two queen beds with a bathroom in each. We have City water and sewer, and many of our guests comment on the great water pressure. A washer & dryer is located on this floor, as well as a freezer and commercial refrigerator. Meals are served in our ocean view dining room, with an awesome view of the bay and surrounding mountains. Eagles entertain you while dining on meals that won’t soon be forgotten. All of our guests rave about the food here. We do not skimp on portions or the quality of what we are serving. Menu Items include locally caught seafood, fresh salad greens, desserts using local berries, and freshly baked breads & goodies. Dietary issues are easily handled as long as advance notice is given.

The Kodiak is our custom built 40 ft. fishing Charter Boat. This is an incredibly stable and very user friendly boat. The boat has a fourteen foot beam, standup private restroom and roomy, heated cabin. This is the largest charter boat in the fleet here in Larsen Bay. Most of the other lodges and guides use “skiffs”, but our vessel can truly be called a boat. Since you will be spending most of your time with us aboard the Kodiak, comfort is of the utmost importance, and this vessel has that and more. Full sized walk around decks, ample room to fish without being crowded, and room to stretch out is what this boat is all about.
